There was a line down and hence no internet till 40 minutes ago!
As usual we have been busy little beavers and have much to share but first I have to unpack the groceries. I’ll get back to you soon. Promise!

Meanwhile we and others have been enjoying the beach! This little chihuahua was so cute.
Thanks for all the emails of concern.

…to all our wonderful US friends where ever you are!

High high tide this morning so I did not walk till later in the afternoon. Colin caught the sunrise thru the ocean mist. What a great way to start the day!

With the Thanksgiving spirit in mind we put up oranges for the orioles & finches.

...with the same thought we decided today was a good day to create & plant our flower garden.

Caeli thought it was just a great day to snuggle in and relax.
In fact today was a huge relaxing day and we just hung out together. Yesterday we both had massages and greeted new RVers to the park. Pat and Gord form Vernon arrived for a three month stay. Thanks for reading my blog folks. So happy to have you here. Our friends Marjorie & Bob arrived with them, interestingly enough I had emailed them to perhaps meet up in Nogales….well they did but did not read my emails until they had met up and already travelled a day together. Life is amazing. Enjoy!

That is what we did yesterday! R E L A X !
Other than 2 walks on the beach we just enjoyed and did nothing much at all.

We had Pablo put our 2 plumeria trees in the ground. They have done well in pots for 2 years but now they will have a permanent home and I have over 4 months to pamper them along. Of course that means I have 2 empty pots that need to be filled.
We put a out a few things like table clothes, a light for the BBQ, our flags but nothing requiring energy.

Even the sunset was laid back!
We ended the evening with a perfect BBQ meal and vino and peacefulness. I was in bed by 8:30PM. Our little sign says it all. We are Happy Campers!!

Over the past year we have become friends with bloggers Kevin & Ruth. We share a love of RV travel and fortunately for this young couple they are full timers and free to roam and experience all that life has to offer. Needless to say we also share a love for all things Mexican. One day we were destined to meet and that special day was yesterday. Kevin & Ruth left their RV in Tepic and took a bus here to visit another friend, Lee and us!

We went over to Mazatlan for the big meet. I think the original plan was for lunch at the Plazuela Machado but we ended up in a pulmonia heading back the Isla.

After a quick stop at the fish market for fresh dorado we boarded the panga. Life jackets are required this year.

Over appies, wine, cerveza and music we got to know each other.

I just had to throw this shot in. There will soon be a book of photos published about Ruth & her style of 'hats'!

We walked and talked and talked and talked. We never ran out of things to discuss or debate. What we ran out of was time.

Time to turn around and head back to the palapa for even more wine & cervezas and snacks.

Rather then waste a second we decided to eat dinner at home, some of the fresh dorado we had picked up in the morning. Ruth put together a great salad with ingredients we found in my fridge. BBQ fish, spuds and a bottle of Chardonnay left us pleasantly satisfied. I like this photo because Colin is it even thought he took the shot.
After a marvellous eight hours together it was time to say adios to our friends. Lots of hugs, perhaps a few tears and off they went onto their next adventure. Remember, mi casa es su casa!

We spent yesterday doing a bit of a set up. Colin as always did so much more. Tire covers and mirror covers are now on, we are not moving this bus for a very long time!! There are many little things that need doing to make this our home and that will happen over the next week. I got the hummingbird feeder up which they found right away but have not yet discovered the birdbath I made for them. The orioles are staring to come back as are some finches. We are doing things but at a much slower pace.
Yesterday was big day in Canadian football. It was the semi finals for both the East & West divisions. Next Sunday will be the game of the season, the Grey Cup! Yesterday the East was won by Winnipeg which is where Colin was born. The West was a game between the Edmonton Eskimos ( where I was born and raised ) and the B.C. Lions where we live. Donna & Brent from RV2 ( there are 2 RV parks here, we are in the smaller park RV1 and just 1/2 block away is RV2, a larger park, but all still Tres Amigos ) hosted a pot luck dinner. I felt torn who to cheer on but in my heart I was pulling for the team from Edmonton. The entire time we watched the game I kept seeing my Dad sitting in his living room in Edmonton practically playing each play with the players. Sorry your team lost Dad.

It was a wonderful meal, surrounded by RVer friends ( even the Americans got into the spirit of the game ) and another perfect end to the day.
