Adios Colin!!
Yes, mi amor has left us girls. We got back about 11PM last night from yet another fabulous Carnival parade. Between us we took about 800 shots. Lots of great photos to share with you all.
Then this morning after our beach walk Colin just started to pack up.
After two very long days and nights of Carnival celebrations Colin had had enough 😐 He just upped and left us as he headed North to Culiacan. No he is not going to check out El Chapo’s homes and tunnels but to attend the annual Festival Internacional de Guitarra. For those who have been following this blog on a regular basis, you know that Colin is headed there to attend Master classes and very special musical events each evening centering around the classical guitar. He will be gone for eight days.

Sadly the girls don't understand why their Dad left them behind. They kept up their lookout for hours.
I always miss mi amore when he leaves but I do support him and his very special guitar time with the best of the best in the entire world of classical guitar professionals. But please make this very long week pass quickly.
We have had so much fun these past few days enjoying Mazatlan’s Carnival. I will be posting photos over the next few days of a compilation of our parade shots.

I’m sure you girls will find plenty to keep you busy while Colin is gone. Are the girls feeling better healthwise these days?
Longdog, the girls are fine and over the parasite situation and Carmeh’s leg now seems fun as she is running on the beach. Hopefully they will remain in good shape for the rest of the year.
Peter…what a lovely thing to say. Gracias.
Dolores…only for the dogs. I know he is returning but for them it is difficult. Carmeh lay by the front steps until 4:30AM when she finally came to bed.
Connie…..yes he loves the Festival. He got to bed at 2:00AM this morning. Sounds like you are doing lots of travelling this winter.
It is a sign of a great marriage when each can have their own time to persue the things they love. Somlong as you miss each other you are blessed. A wonderful couple youbare indeed!
Gotta love those typos!
Ah, sadness and despair….
I know from reading your blog that Colin enjoys the guitar festival. We just returned (my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter) from spending last week in Omaha Nebraska (a work related trip for daughter). Even though it was cold, we had a fun time exploring the Old Market area. Next week the three of us will enjoy ten days in Orlando Florida at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Enjoy your me time with the girls this week!
Colin will have fun and you will be busy, and before you now it he will be back.
Then soon time to get ready to head back to Canada :(..
It will be a long week for the girls but I will enjoy some extra quiet reading time. Actually after all of the activities this past week it will be perfect to just stay put here on our site with added beach walks.
I can’t imagine experiencing Carnival in Mazatlan, so will just have to wait for your pictures. What fun! And Colin mastering the classical guitar is quite a major accomplishment. What better location!
I am worried Lynda that we will overwhelm you with too many photos.
