Honored guests for happy hour
Emmy and Leo used to RV here at Tres Amigos RV Park for the winter but they are always on the move and will stay in Lo de Marcos this winter. They always stop here for a week or two to visit with us all. This year we managed to snag them for a good visit.

There is never enough time to discuss it all. Here we are going over their trip from Laredo to the Isla via the new highway. I will share those details with you another day. They loved the new road and will use it again for certain. This couple has the distinction of having driven their large 5th wheel on the original Devil's Backbone, which is what the old Mazatalan Durango highway is called.
At that time I had no idea the relationship between the plants in my garden and my happy hour guests. In the back of my mind I knew that Emmy and Leo had a nursery.

So for all my Ontario readers you might be interested in checking out Balfour Greenhouses and their products.

My Mexican readers might want to pick up a few of these to brighten up their gardens. I had no idea what these plants were called. I shall enjoy my flowers all the more now that I have such a special connection to them.
Special thanks to Colin for my sunset shot tonight.
