Warmer than Mazatlan !!!

At 5:00PM local time Sunday, we were…

Hot, hot, hot! That is 80.6F.

At the same time in Mazatlan it was 24.4.

Tomorrow we here in Kelowna will be 32C ( 89.6 F ).  In Mazatlan that will be a high of 84F.  Guess we came home at the right time.

Being home means work, not only the photography kind but the house kind.  We had a fellow in on Saturday to measure for our stair railings which I need ASAP.  Somedays I can manage on my own, other days no.

Once Colin was done work Saturday he started pulling our patio furniture out.

When I say out, I mean out!! It was stored way under the house. He pulled it put and I wiped it down.

We knew we might have a bit of a water issue under the house but not to this extent. Oh well, we have the summer to figure it out. The rain can be very brutal especially with a driving wind behind it, right off the lake.

I love to power wash and was given a small area to clean.

Others just enjoyed the rest of the day.

Colin and Carmeh had their end of day cuddle while I got the dinner going. At this point we were well into the vino.

Today, Sunday Colin worked out in the field doing photography while I did laundry, computer and desk work.  Whether it is a weekend or not makes no difference to us.  He did come home for a few hours midday and we did a few more smaller jobs.  We did manage to have an early dinner together at 5PM on the patio before he headed out for end of day shots.  Our first meal outside this year, well here in Kelowna that is.

I think having just the one property here in Holiday Park has cut our stress down a huge amount.   We seem to be living more in the moment and that is the best it can be I think.

It wasn’t quite that warm here, never got over 70F but tomorrow is promising. Your lawn looks really nice!

That view is just so amazingly gorgeous and serene. Lucky, lucky you. This is the summer, Mazatlan in the winter. Life doesn’t get much better, does it? Well, if your health were better, I guess. ‘-)
