Flawless Friday
Yesterday consisted of the usual beach walks, reading and relaxing and making some decisions.
It will be a step by step process. As of today we are no longer handling the bird nor letting it fly around the RV. When it gets to where it is going, it will be happy to be free as opposed to being in the cage. Carmeh is much more relaxed with the bird locked in and we need to help her make the transition also. Of course I will post details as they happen.

Back home in Canada our new house awaits us. We will wait until the snow leaves before going back, needless to say. Thanks for the photo John. Poor John and his wife Val, they were vacationing here in Mazatlan in a condo for a month and have had to return back to this. Guess who made a reservation for four months beachfront for next December? Smart move John! See you end of April.
We experienced our first sunset in quite a while and what a beauty it was.

Your house back home looks pretty chilly, soon it will warm up and you will be back there again. Nice to have a good sunset agin too.
gorgeous pictures Contessa 🙂
What a sunset!
Your HPR home looks very cosy even in winter. The rose colored siding, the green of the hedges and the stark white of the snow make a good picture. It could only be improved with a smoke plume rising out of the chimney with an operating fire place inside. How remote that picture must make you feel as you enjoy the fruits of your long journey down to a warm paradise! Enjoy your time down there. KenB
Do you have to take the bird away from your current area to release it? I was just curious since you said there are a lot of stray cats around. And will he know how to survive in “the wild”? I don’t know how young he was when captured, so did he have time to learn how to find food etc?
Teri….don’t worry, this is all being done under a qualified group of people which I will document.
As much as you love your dogs I shouldn’t even question you. I actually think that him being able to fly free is wonderful. I apologize for worrying enough to question it.
You have nothing to apologize for but being very very kind and caring.
