Welcome Home "home"!!
It came, about an hour early. I was still in my jammies! Rush, rush!

There it is coming down the main street here in the RV Park. They drove it right through the park and turned around in the golf course area.

We passed our empty site as we went to meet our new home. Friends had created a special welcome for our new home.....merci Michele et Robert!

Notice the listing to the right....somewhere between turning off HWY 97 and entering the gates here at Holiday Park, a wheel came off the trailer. Literally, came right off and rolled down the road!! That side of the house has all the kitchen cabinets and appliances. Could have been worse. The boarded windows are where the stain glass is going. The front three were installed late yesterday afternoon. The big one will wait till the add a room is built.

This part scares me. They have to tip the house up to get the trailer out. Then it took hours to level the house.
These are all my quick photos. Colin is working in Kamloops today, he left at 5AM so I was unable to get any of his shots. If there is anything outstanding I'll post them in a few days. It was so hot yesterday, at least 35C. We set up a fan for the guys working under the house to give them some air. We didn't even get to look inside till late afternoon where everything seemed to be in great shape except for a few cracks which is to be expected and of course will be repaired.
Meanwhile someone here in the park had ordered a truck load of sockeye salmon to be delivered to Holiday Park, they were caught less than 24 hours before delivery and kept on ice. We managed to snag four of them for about $12.00 each. The house kept us occupied till after 8PM and we were hungry! Another neighbor had cooked up their fresh salmon for dinner and brought a small piece. Yummy, thanks Lorraine!! That with some snap peas was dinner.
So far today my head is spinning in circles. Colin is gone, the girls are unhappy at this site, Caeli has run away twice and Carmeh won't come inside. She just wants to sit outside on the golf cart!!! The lumber delivery for the deck was over 4 hours late and I spent hours on the phone trying to sort out our telephone and internet.
The house is perfect and the color is just as great as we thought it would be. More tomorrow……have to go check my two work crews!

Pat…..thanks for your support on delivery day!
Shelagh….welcome to the blog comment section. Nice to know you are out there somewhere. The Chardonnay sounds perfect. Thanks for your thoughts and for following my blog.
Marty…..me too:)
Connie….thanks! It is going to be just perfect….eventually.
Katie…..thanks and Carmeh sends yo wet face kisses!
Bob….yes we had a site plan and a survey and the house had to be just ‘so’! In the end security just made sure we were three feet away from the property line.
Elaine…very exciting.
Congrats on your new home. we have been reading your blog for almost a year but our first time commenting. How time has flown, before you know it you’ ll be back at the beach. Deserving of a much needed rest. Till then, a nice chilled Chardonnay will have to do.
Cheers to you both on an awesome result.

Gah! How you manage it all is quite something, I must say.
Had to chuckle at the mention of the “Security”. *snort!* Did he at least have a site plan, or did he just need to come by to “approve”?
My thinking would be that perhaps the management at the park would have a pretty good idea as to where mobile homes need to be planked down on a site, and that sort of thing would have been decided on WAY earlier in the process, but I’m only guessing here.
Have fun today.
Congrats Colin and contessa how exciting,,
