House stuff!
Still rainy and cold, I am wearing 2 sweaters and 2 pairs of socks. The girls are under a mound of blankets and even with a small electric heater we are chilled to the bone. The windows in this RV are not double pane. What happened to our weather? This reminds me of October when start to head south to Mexico.
I did manage to make dinner last night but not till 8:30PM. I think we are slowly becoming more organized. Haven’t shown you the latest new build photos.

Now the heat ducting is in, water lines are in, some electrical and floor insulation. I am standing about even with the kitchen, which shows how large a living area we will have, all the way forward.

It was going right next door to the house we just sold. A very tight squeeze. Our delivery will be much easier.
That’s it for today folks. I’ll try and spice things up tomorrow. By the way if anyone who reads this blog is coming to the Isla for the winter let me know if you want to join our book club. We have a few open spaces.

Really cold and windy here, too. You are getting more organized, you got a post in today-better than I can say for myself.
Marty….thanks.
Mary…the sunsets on the Isla must be spectacular. Wish we were there.
Longdog….it is amazing how they all have their own personalities and duties. Our first doxie use to catch bugs also.
George….this RV was bought to stay in warm climates not Canada. This particular coach did not come with dual pane windows but have no fear the house will as well as argon filled.
Love the sunset photo…all the sun sets now are ..BLAZING RED AND ORANGE..I think it depicts the heat here:-)
How exciting…a new home!!
I would love to send you and the girls some of our 95F degree weather. Gretchen spends a lot of time outside laying in the sun supervising the activities in her yard. Willy goes out in the evening to catch bugs and Harley doesn’t care how warm it is if someone will throw the ball for him.
No double pane windows? They sure do make a huge difference, much warmer in the cool weather, blocks a lot of noise and keeps you cooler in the hot weather. Hope your new house has double pane windows. We are in for some hot weather over the next few days, I think, maybe you get some too.
