Gramma Katie’s Cake…..
It is good with wine, it is good with tea and it is good with coffee. The perfect recipe.
The cake makes you really happy..as you can see:)
Even the guys are sort of happy.....even though their glasses are on empty.
You need a pan like this.
Then this recipe...
...and you get a happy cake and a very happy Gramma Katie!

I am working very hard on mail, company year end, taxes, etc….too much in just a few days but I keep thinking back to the Isla and my mind relaxes.

Susie…thanks for the Welcome Home….it is nice having a wee home to come back to. Makes us look forward to going back to the RV in the fall and vice versa.
Sandie…the ducks were so cute, today there were some paris of quail but I just watched for once.
George…yup, back home to relax at work…after the first week it is much more relaxed, honest. Wonder if you can make the cake with spelt flour?
