Invasion ~ part 2
Actually now it is becoming much more fun than a seeming invasion. Actually I had a blast at the mountain climb on Sunday, Colin had to pull me away. Many of the vehicles left on Sunday afternoon but there were several who lingered till sunset Monday, the end of the long weekend.

...and there I sat, just to the far right of the bleachers.....and where was mi amore you ask....pretty much wherever the action was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While all this NOISE and gyrating were happening here on Chivos the rest of the Isla reposed in sunny relaxation. Tres Amigos is to the left ( where we are ) and to the right of the tall white building 1/3 from the right. Very very peaceful. There is a rumour around that the cleared foreground will become Tres Amigos 3!!!

The action was non stop, there were many vehicles trying to climb at the same time. It was determind that the 2 in the foreground were stuck and both had to be winched out so that others might take their turn at machine over mountain. The blue truck in the background were doing the run with a load of friends in the back end.

Who is that guy in the coral shirt and pith helmet.....Colin of course. He just has to be in the middle of the action. Guess I took this shot also.
Thanks for sticking with me so long……this must be the longest blog ever but I just had to give you the feel for being a part of the invasion!!!! Did you have a good time? We sure did. Culiacan last weekend and now this. Who wants to head North? I LOVE my life!

So glad you enjoyed this–so many would not have but I think you enjoy everything. And just where were the girls when all this was going on?
Longdog…..it was a first for me and yes i did enjoy it. The girls were safely at home away from all the noise.
George….You would have loved it.
Good Luck Duck….good comment:)
Nancy….who knew this was happening on the Isla. It was fun but LOUD!
Catheline….Gracias amiga!
Now thats what I call an exciting day on the Isla! Awesome pictures too.
I can’t decide which tableau was more ridiculous. At least the girl could take off those shoes and carry them away; not so with the men in Jeeps.
Fantastic post! What fun you had! Thanks so much.
You sure are living it. IMO you have the best of both worlds, Mazatlan and Kelowna. You are one lucky girl.
