The last day of 2017
The day started out dull and grey but was great for the final beach walk of the year.
Lots of folks walking the beach to take in the sunset.
As the sun was setting the moon was rising.
With the final sunset of 2017 it was time for us to prepare to head into Mazatlan for New Years Eve.
Loved these new style colorful balloons. Really just a clear helium balloon with a small string of tiny colored lights wrapped around the outside. It did have an on/off switch but likely the balloon would not last too many days.
Dozens and dozens of tables were awaiting their diners. The Plazuela would soon be packed full of fun seekers waiting to bring in the New Year.
We had dinner just a block off the Plazuela at Topolos.
We brought the New Year in with friends Claude, France, Pierre and Dianne. We were too busy having a wonderful evening to take too many photos.
…and so begins 2018.
