Checking things off the list
Part of our time here in Palm Springs is to buy some last minute supplies for Mexico, do a few RV required chores and simply rearrange the inside ( my job ) and the basement of the RV and the car ( Colin’s job ). It was too wet and cool for us to do a proper job before we left home but we knew that we had this extra time to get organized.

We pretty much loaded the car with a large Walmart shop including new lights for our Isla patio. Then we stopped at Lowe’s. I wanted some good soil to grow my kale and swiss chard in as last year was a dud. We also bought some paint to brighten up a certain area of our site. Stay tuned on those details once we get to Mexico.

We are taking early morning walks and then once the sun has sunk behind the mountains yet another. It has been around 90F every day.

Last summer we did a kitchen and bathroom reno in the RV but never completed the job. It is on the to do list.

This is the bedroom and we think we won’t need to redo any of the woodwork however we did change out the door handles.

Great sunset last night. We have no idea what all those tiny red lights are in the bottom left. We suspect that they might be red lights atop the many windmills that are in front of the Palm Springs airport runway which is to the far left of the shot.
We are taking the night off to watch the US election. We have a $50.00 Napa bottle of aged Chardonnay on ice to toast the victor.

Enjoy your time there getting caught up.
Nice to take a break. Love the sunset with the palm trees!!
I highly doubt you toasted the victor but figure the wine was much needed :). Love that picture of Caeli belly up
I’ve been traveling for 6 weeks with not enough Internet to both post blogs and read them so I was really behind on reading blog posts. I just all your posts for the last 6 weeks and really enjoyed catching up with your life. Glad to see you are taking a break and enjoying the trip down as well as the destination. The girls are looking good as are both of you. Glad to hear that you seem to have Carmeh’s health issues under some control. Now I’ll be able to follow along on your trip in a more timely manner. I don’t know how you do so well keeping on top of the blog posts. I am still finishing up the last week of my travels.
