Just another day in paradise…..

You wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore….then you hear the bird calling and the dogs want to go out and so begins the day.  Some days we just let the day unfold at will.  Other days we have a bit of a plan, perhaps put up a few decorations, plant more flowers, but that day sort of unfolds at will also.  Things just happen, a vendor stops by, friends drop in, the plant man makes an unscheduled visit, someone needs help with something.  You just never know what lies ahead.

Monday was construction day, after 4 days of this canopy just laying around. We need just a bit more shade these days and this was loaned to us. I just realized I don't have completed photo, oh well it will get taken eventually.

One of my new plants from Sunday. Yesterday we got 3 more 🙂

My hibiscus from last season did not do as well over the summer, only a few died but the rest are short and scrawny so I just had to add to my garden.  I have put in ten new plants this week and that should be it for this year.

Gord from Mazatlan came over on the panga to show us his modifications to my bike! Can you beleive he got a new bike seat for 48 pesos! I won't be riding it for a while so I am glad he is enjoying it.

Aren't these fabulous?

A local family have a birthday celebration just beside us. Enjoyed the antics of the pinata breaking.

This was Monday evening. I hate to admit but I missed Tuesdays actually setting of the sun as I was in the back garden directing Ismael on where I wanted my new plants put in.

Adios to Norma & Croft this morning! Remember you said you would come visit us in Kelowna this summer.

….and today…..well is is just unfolding as it should.  Well perhaps not quite!  Carmeh is doing her 'mouse in the house 'dance!!
