A slow Tuesday!
Still waiting for some action here on the Isla for the holidays. Meanwhile on the advice of everyone here, we headed into Mazatlan to do all of our final errands. The streets on the Isla are suppose to become impassable. We shall see. So we picked up some queso and romaine and a bit of fruit from the mercado and I picked up 2 more sundresses. I also got all my new and repaired things from my wonderful seamstress Carmen. Things are busier here on Stone Island, the restaurants are busy and our two fruit & veggie guys are selling out before they get here!

We are very very slowly getting organized for the trip North. I found a bottle of Copper Moon PInot Grigio, our most favorite wine in the Okanagan. We almost buy it by the case in Kelowna. So yesterday when we opened the wine and took our first sip, we stopped and looked at each other!!! It seems that the Oak Leaf purchased at Walmart is just as good. Who knew! Too bad Walmart doesn't sell wine in Canada.

At about 8:00PM ( the time if wrong on the monitor ) the temperature outside is 72F and inside it is 79F.

Slow days are always goof too.
Did you ever find your lists? Thought of you today when I was looking for my lists for our four months in Delaware this summer/fall. Then I remembered they were on my laptop! You and doggies look so cozy and comfy!
I would love your temperatures, our high today was 44 degrees with gray skies and little sun. Your weather sounds wonderful to me. The pictures of the children are great, sun, sand, surf, I think I would just lay right down with them IF I were there. 🙂 🙂
I agree with you on the wine. My husband and I bought some at Wal-Mart and its pretty good for the price.
Nice pics Contessa. I truly enjoy your work. Can’t wait to see how busy it gets.
Just an off the topic question, if I may.
If I was was coming to Maz / Isla for a longer stay, bringing a newer unlocked Canadian (sask tel/telus) smart phone, would I be able to buy prepaid data for it and use the phones capabilities as a wi-fi hotspot for a laptop? Are the data connections decent speed on the Isla? A bit technical I know… sorry!
It seems difficult to get accurate info on this stuff.
Thanks in advance if you know any of this.
Rob….I will get back to you on this.
Connie…NO! Oh well! I just made new ones.
