Que pasa in Mazatlan…

Spring is on the way.  It is slowly warming up.  Now if we could only stop that coolish wind!!!!!!

Are those flowers and leaf buds ?

We couldn’t help but notice this pulmonia driver’s special gas pedal!

Innovative to say the least

It works, you just have to place your foot just so.

Over the past week or so Colin has spent some time checking out some students in front of the music school…

Another day we had a lovely fresh mahi mahi lunch in the Golden Zone where Colin met….

..a 27 year old double yellow headed parrot. The owner couldn't believe that the bird let Colin rub it's head. This bird usually bites if touched. Colin the bird whisperer.....of course this made us sad as we recalled our sweet Mexican red headed Chikka!

While I’m getting spruced up Colin is out wondering around Centro eating ice cream!  He did get a cut too.

Good job Antonio!

Did someone say Plazuela Machado and lunch?

We just can't enough of the vivid colors.

and I can't get enough of well, you know....

Heading home we were once again treated to life’s differences, the haves and the have nots…..not sure I would chose a Princess Cruise these days.

Pleasure or hard work....

We were able to wish a friend a Happy 17th riding home….

Feliz Cumpleaños!

Lovely post! And the flowering tree at the top is a false orchid or orchid tree, it loses all its leaves when it blooms and those buds are more blooms coming. The hummingbirds love them.

Counting down-two weeks and 3 days! Then it will be over and we’ll be back in the frozen North! If you ever ride in “Dulce” Ismael’s Pulmonia, tell him the four sisters say hi!

  3. The gas pedal in the pulmonia is from a standard Volkswagen from chassis, its just missing the pedal that goes over it. I had three VW’s from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s (renovated them lots too!) and thats what was under the pedal, not much has changed. Love the colors, people, food and the nice drinks that you can get there, kinda miss that mucho! Enjoy the time that you have left there! Thanks for sharing.
