3rd Annual International Blogger Conference
December 26th was the date chosen for the 2015 blogger get together here on the Isla. At the first convention we had six bloggers and the details can be found here The second Isla blogger conference was last Dec 24th and that information is here. This year we had five bloggers as we did the previous year.

It took a bit of coordinating but 5PM at Lety’s Restaurant on the Isla was the location as I was too tired to do any more cooking this week. Just a bit of a sunset under the cloud bank.

There were two doxies there just wandering around the tables, the owner oblivious to the fact that they were rooting through the sand for dropped tidbits. Likely their tummies will be full of sand.
From left to right, myself, Rae of A Life by Design, Chris who writes Living and Boondocking in Mexico and Mike aka Wandering Mike who writes the blog Abuelo Loco. Our fifth blogger was delayed so we went ahead and ordered our meals. We actually did discuss various points about blogging including the why we do it, the challenges and readers and comments. Mike had demonstrated to me the day prior how he can simply speak into his phone ( ? Smart phone or ??) and the words will be sent to his blog and posted in a draft form for him to review and to add photos before the final posting. Pretty amazing tech stuff out there.

Maria arrived in time for some discussion. She is a busy gal and I am happy she was able to drop by for a bit.
Maria writes under the Canexican….as she works in Canada and lives in Mexico. She doesn’t post often but when she does it is meaningful. The two girls headed to their Isla homes and the boys headed back to Tres Amigos RV Park.

It was windy and cool. As you can see I changed into long pants and a sweater and soon had a wrap around myself. More discussion and relaxation around the fire.

Colin played for a bit. I honestly can’t remember how late we were up, one evening seems to be running into the next these days. Needless to say a good time was had by all.

So sorry I didn’t get to attend the “third annual,” but glad to see the tradition carries on! Maybe next year….
