Our final visit to Mazatlan this season

This was taken 6 to 8 weeks ago but never managed to get published but I like this photo of us dining on Olas Altas. Sadly I dropped this pair of eye glasses a month ago and had to resort to my old ones until I can replace my scratched lense back in Canada. Cheaper to get one new lense at home than to get 2 here as they don't have the same types here.

Something new to see on each corner.

All two stories are part of a large single family home.

I would not be happy having a condo tower being built that will block my ocean view.

This car parks down the street from where I get my hair done, just in front of Paulina's, a great little restaurant on Sixto Osuna.

Creative art? Love all the color.

The two lions just add the right touch to this home, don't you think?

Colin ran some errands Thursday while I got my hair done at Tippy Toes, then it was his turn. We will really miss Deborah and her wonderful salon.

Then we returned to where I was served a chicken burger back in January. Yes it was an error but it took me over 2 months to get over it. I have to say the wait staff were overjoyed to see us return and they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy.

So our final hours in Mazatlan were spent devouring a perfect dorado burger. We have been assured we will be greeted with open arms when we return in November. Now if I could just somehow get them to perfect their margaritas 😉

We were so glad to get back to the Isla. There is something here that delves deep into our souls. We do love the city but the Isia is where we belong.

Seeing you on Olas Altas makes me crave the coconut shrimp at La Cauva de Leon. None better. I love the view-watching the comings and goings of the city.

Marty….I think we should organize a ‘find the best coconut shrimp restaurant in Mazatalan’, think how much fun that would be! Our favorite for this meal is a tiny restaurant in Pie de la Cuesta, just outside of Acapulco.

Peter….thank you, kind of you to say. It would be great to meet this summer. If you are coming to Kelowna I can get you a special rate at Holiday Park Resort in either a condo or an RV site. Let me know if and when you are coming and I can send you the details.
