Cracking up…..
Not been a good last 24 hours.
I cracked a tooth, at least that’s what it felt like….off to the the dentista tomorrow, soonest they can see me.
Then I noticed our new cement had cracked.
Only poured 10 days ago.
..the crack goes all the way up to the existing grey cement. S & K say it is to be expected and nothing they can do!!!
I'm going to leave it to Colin to deal with.....I'm done with the cement guys.
On a more positive note I am making arrangements for bounty hunters to come track down Mr. Murphy!!

Ahhh…the dreaded Dentista, lo siento! Let’s hope the crack in the tooth isn’t comparable in size to the one in the cement.
so sorry to hear about your tooth….and that is NOT a hairline crack in my books…I’d be burying the ‘cement’ guy right into that crack…do you need me to come out there and help you handle this?…hope things went well at the dentist today…xo

Just visited with my hubby the retired cement manufacturer, and he said you are out of luck. The concrete will crack even if they did everything right. It’s the nature of the beast.
this will make my decision easy i will not use SK concrete . if that the way they reacted to the problem
Did they compact before the pour?? It is annoying specially when it,s new hasn’t been thru winter or a hot summer!!

Susie….yes they did but it seems that that corner is lower and now looks to be discoloring….sigh!
