We survived….

I don’t ever want to do yesterday again.  Eleven stops which was nine too many for me!!!

...this helped a bit but bed at 8:30PM was even better!

Half of the appointments evolved into glitches which will require due diligence today.  Who has that time???  The biggest problem is with our solar panel control unit.  In the last three weeks we have installed  2 new ones and they appear to be defective.  For some unknown reason they don’t shut down and have allowed the batteries to get to the boiling point.  The read out shows 15.5 volts and the sun is lower here than in Mazatlan.  So back to the  store for yet another or should we wait and try another product in the USA?  Voyageur RV said that it is not unheard of to get an entire shipment of defective products.  Fortunately our batteries were checked out and are still in good shape.

So Colin and I are going to split the glitches between us, add that to today’s to do list and get a move on….

The girls meanwhile were simply exhausted from their visit to the vet and will be spending the day recuperating!!!

Dachsies do know how to take the stress out of the day, don’t they? They also have a very good handle on stretching to get the kinks out.

Glad you survived, all will work out in the end I am sure. With living in our coach fulltime we are lucky to fix the problems as they arise, usually…… Good luck with the last minute details.

No nothing about solar panels, but doxies and vet visits I can sure relate to. That’s definitely hard work for the girls.

Sounds to me that you deserved that wine at the end of the day…I think I might have started on it even earlier! The day didn’t seem to hard on the girls, looks like they are just taking things easy, oh the stress of it!

Thanks for all the support. For some reason we keep being presented with new problems daily, things we’ve never had to deal with before, many of them business related. Maybe Mother Nature wants to be sure we are worthy of the trip. Still trying to sort out the solar panel control situation.

Colin: check out your solar panel controller. Make sure the controller is rated for the highest solar panel AMPS. Solar panels can go to 19 volts in high sun BUT the controller should shut down the contact with the batteries. Good luck.

That’s the problem, it seems that the controller is defective. We are going to try a third one today. Unfortunately no one else in Kelowna has anything else that would fit. We don’t really want to leave without one incase we can’t find anything further south.
