Special thoughts…/UPDATE @ 3:30PM
…today my father is having hip replacement surgery. He is almost 81 so this makes it a special surgery. If when you read this you could just send him a special healing, healthy and positive thought, I would be ever so grateful. He is a very special father and it is important to me that today goes well.

UPDATE @ 3:30PM Kelowna….Dad survived his surgery and they say it went well. He is just about to get out of the recovery room. I forgot to mention that he is in Edmonton, not here, so I was rather concerned. He is also my mother’s caregiver so it makes it even more important. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I know that they all helped.

My thoughts are with him for a healthy surgery and recovery. My Dad had a hip replacement done at the end of January and everything went well. Now he is needing the other one done. Hopefully it can be done before we head south again, so that I can be there for some assistance.

It’s hard to see your parents, who were so strong all your life, now needing so much care. And you fear for their survival because they are getting frail. Prayers that your dad heals quickly.

I also wish him a speedy recovery are you going out to help out or do you have someone there?? I know he,s also your mom,s care giver.. I ‘ve now lost both parent,s and it,s a hole in family get together,s!! We just got back on inter net today 20th of April, catching ferry from Port Angelas tomorrow!!! It,s too darn cold!!!!
