Dorado….
…aka Mahi mahi in Hawaii! Colin and I use to go to Maui ( before wieners) annually for at least 3 weeks and our favorite meal was Mahi-mahi….little did we know that this is the same fish here in Mexico called Dorado!!!!!!!!! When we head back to Canada our freezer is full of Dorado!
Can you find Colin among the pelicanos? There is a major fresh fish market just at the embarcadero from Mazatlan to the Isla. The other day Colin had a hunger pang for Dorado…so off he went to his favorite vendor…
This was the very Dorado that our 1/2 kilo came from…a little over one pound for 45 pesos…3.80CAD…..you can’t get it any fresher or cheaper!!!!
About six people form RV 1 and RV2 went deep sea fishing last Friday but to no avail…despite not catching anything they did have a great time. At least we have a back up for fish!
